Twerton resident writes a book
Mr Peter Little of Long Valley Road in Twerton, is a keen historical researcher and musician. In 1995 he wrote a History of Twerton – copies of which are available at Bath Reference Library.
He has also written A Few Twerton Folk, detailing the lives of some notable characters of Twerton’s past.
His latest book gives an overview of 16 interesting chapels around Bath and is sold by Oldfield Park Bookshop at Moorland Road, as well as Whiteman’s at Orange Grove and Good Buy Books at North Parade. Proceeds from the sales will go to St Michael’s Church.
For many years, Mr Little has voluntarily played the organ for Sunday services at St Michael’s Church and played the piano for another service attended by deaf and hearing people at Pennard Court.
